We’re hanging on to summer a little longer with our September 20th release of two very refreshing, fruit-forward sours. One of these sours is called Bluegrass Party Pants, and it’s made with real blueberries plus lemongrass grown right here on Hobbs Farm. This bright crisp, and effervescent sour tastes like blueberry lemon sweet tarts and leaves lovely, lingering notes of floral, herbal lemongrass and earthy blueberry tartness on your palate.

Bluegrass Party Pants is on tap right now for the mug club, but will be officially released on September 20th. We are trying to have cans available then as well, but that might be delayed a few days. We will keep everyone updated!

Here are a few more tasting notes:

Appearance – pinkish / light purple hue with a white head that, like with most sours, will dissipate quickly

Aroma – lemon / lemongrass with slight herbal and floral notes and a subtle berry flavor.

Flavor – tart and bright with a lemony pop up front, a nice blueberry note with a lemony / lemongrass floral / herbal lingering finish. Some earthiness from the blueberries.

All in all, this is a really fun beer that’s bright and enjoyable to drink. We can’t wait for you to try it!
