When we asked our team what beers we had to brew for our 14th birthday, Chef Carrie didn’t hesitate—she wanted a smooth, roasty, toasty British-style mild, served on nitro. And honestly, what could be more fitting for Throwback than a low-ABV, malt-forward, “perfect for gathering with friends” kind of beer? We immediately said heck yes.

The result is Meetinghouse Mild—a 3.8% ABV, ultra-smooth, totally crushable brew with notes of coffee, dark toasted bread, and Dutch cocoa. The nitro pour adds a creamy head and silky mouthfeel that makes every sip even more irresistible.

Some very scientific tasting notes from the team:

  • “If you’re looking for a brown ale, this will do the trick.”
  • “A little too drinkable—oh my!”
  • “Are you kidding me? That’s so crushable!”

The name “Meetinghouse Mild” is a nod to our roots (Throwing back a beer with friends) and to the community we’ve built around good beer and good people. This one drops on July 2nd—in cans to go, on nitro draft, and (while it lasts!) a special firkin pour for all you real ale fans. Cheers to 14 years!
