For those of you who’ve been with us since the early days, you know our love for dark beers runs deep — especially Imperial Stouts. So when it came time to dream up our holiday lineup, an Imperial Stout was an absolute must for me, Annette, and Adam. And wow, are we glad we went for it!

Introducing Midnight Jam — a luxurious 10.8% Imperial Stout brewed with copious amounts of blueberries. The result? A big, ridiculously smooth beer that tastes like dark chocolate–covered blueberries dipped in caramel and toasted malt. It’s decadent, complex, and perfectly indulgent for the season.

With each sip, the many layers of this fun drinking beer unfold: subtle notes of blueberry jam and ripe plums give way to velvety dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and a lingering tang that keeps your palate intrigued. The rich, toasty backbone comes (in part) from local Vienna and VaVa Voom malts from Valley Malt, while the luscious body and creamy head owe their silky texture to Golden Triticale malt from Blue Ox Malthouse in Maine.

And yes, it’s 10.8% ABV — but you’d never guess it. There’s no boozy heat here, just a dangerously smooth, full-bodied beer that drinks like dessert in a glass. Whether you’re fireside with friends or saving a few cans to share as a holiday treat, Midnight Jam is the kind of beer that makes you slow down and savor every sip.

Midnight Jam will be released on Saturday November 15th, on both draft and in cans to go.
