Night at The Sugar Shack

For those of you who’ve been with us for 15 years, you already know that we have a deep, unwavering love for dark beer. Especially the kind that layers on flavor: chocolate, coffee, and rich berry, jammy goodness. So it should come as no surprise that we are absolutely over the moon about our latest release:

Night at The Sugar Shack (11.2%) — a Maple Syrup Rye Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with Blueberries.

This beer is everything we love in a beer. Our official tasting notes range from “oh my god, it’s so good” to “put that in my pie hole immediately.” 🙂

But if we had to be a bit more precise…

On the nose, it’s like a perfectly crafted mocha—aromas of freshly roasted coffee, sweet maple syrup, and dark chocolate. The flavor follows suit, with decadent notes of dark chocolate–covered blueberries, layered with subtle oaky, tobacco-like character from the rye barrel. Despite its 11.2% ABV, the alcohol stays in the background, offering just a gentle warmth while the beer drinks remarkably smooth.
