Throwback Brewery
Join us for a hands-on session that pairs a small group of participants with local oyster farmer, Laura Brown of Fox Point Oysters, on Thursday, September 10th from 6-7:30pm. Featuring fresh oysters, expert instruction, and a behind-the-shell look at New Hampshire’s aquaculture industry – in partnership with Sea Grant. Slurping oysters from Fox Point Oysters = briny treats all around!
Come learn, taste, and shuck!
What’s included in the workshop:
– Learn to open oysters safely, prepare them, and safely source your local seafood.
– A dozen fresh oysters to practice on (and eat!).
– A hummus plate and 8oz beer to enjoy during instruction.
What you’ll take home:
– Hands-on oyster shucking training from a local farmer.
– A take-home kit, including: oyster knife, gloves and waterproof tote.
– Local aquaculture and seafood educational resources.
