Some beers make an entrance. Others quietly win you over before you realize just how much they’re packing. Bobble & Weave is firmly in the second camp.

This Belgian Strong Blonde Ale spent time resting in a barrel from Cathedral Ledge Distillery in North Conway, adding layers of oak, bourbon character, and subtle botanical complexity to an already expressive beer. The result is beautifully balanced- bright and effervescent with a deceptively smooth finish that belies its 10% ABV.

Pouring a rich, deep golden-orange with lively carbonation, Bobble & Weave opens with inviting aromas of baked apple, warm caramel, and a hint of spice. Each sip reveals notes of bourbon-soaked oak, toffee, honeyed fruit, and gentle vanilla before finishing dry with lingering wood and bourbon warmth. Despite its strength, the medium-bodied mouthfeel and crisp finish keep the beer remarkably drinkable.

The name has a story, too. “Bobble” is a nod to our beloved bobblehead era here at the farm, while “Weave” refers to what this stealthy 10% beer might have you doing after a pint or two. Consider yourself warned lol!

This is a beer made for slowing down. Sip it thoughtfully, share it with friends, and enjoy how the Belgian yeast character intertwines with the bourbon barrel influence without either overwhelming the other.
