Our Playlist beer series features the same base India Pale Ale recipe (oats, 2-Row, and Pilsen malt from Valley Malt, plus honey malt). But, every time we make a batch, we will switch up either the yeast OR the hops. For Playlist 03:01, we used the same hops as 02:01 (Azacca, Ekuanot, Calypso, and Grüngeist hops), but changed the yeast to a Belgian strain. The result is a hazy, golden ale with a spicy, fruity nose, a medium body, and a lingering tropical fruit and peppery finish.
