Our Playlist beer series features the same base India Pale Ale recipe (oats, 2-Row, & Pilsen malt from Valley Malt, plus honey malt). But, every time we make a batch, we will switch up either the yeast OR the hops. For Playlist 04:01, we used the same Belgian yeast strain as 03:01, but switched up the hops to Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic, and Experimental Hop #1 from Crosby Hop Farm. The result is a beautiful light gold-colored beer with a mild haze and a bright white head, with an aroma of pineapple, candied fruit, & papaya, and flavors of tropical fruit & a slight black pepper spice from the yeast.
