We’ve had such a bounty of beautiful flowers here on the farm this year that our Farm Manager Emily thought, why not share the art of what we do with all of you? So we’ve carved out two peaceful Sunday morning immersive experiences with Emily that will take you from flower harvest to expert arrangement, with light refreshments along the way!

On two Sundays, August 28th and September 18th, starting at 9am, our 2.5 hourĀ Flower Workshops start with a guided tour by expert hands through the fields of Hobbs Farm, actively learning how to properly harvest every flower on our farm at its proper stage for maximum vase life.

Enjoy approximately an hour putting your new skills into practice by leisurely harvesting your very own flowers for your bouquet. Farmers will be available for assistance. Then head back to our tent for coffee and a snack while Emily provides an expertly crafted demonstration on how to arrange bouquets using her years of flower arranging knowledge, tips and tricks.

Wrap up your experience by spending about half an hour or so creating your arrangement from the blooms you just harvested, all in a Mason jar that we provide for you to take home. Design your custom bouquet and bring it home. That’s it!

Note: This experience will take you out into the fields of our farm. We recommend closed toe shoes, as we may encounter muddy, grassy conditions. Sunscreen and sun hats are encouraged, and we ask that you bring your own scissors or snips for harvesting. There are only 15 spots available for each date, so grab yours today!
