Many of us have had our getaways canceled this year (boo 2020), leaving us dreaming a lot about vacations and warmer climates and relaxing on a beach with family & friends. So, when we took one whiff of the tropical, lemon citrus, and apricot aromas wafting off our latest beer, we new we needed to give it a “vacation-y” name. Introducing Bermuda Shorts – a hazy, straw-colored New England IPA (NEIPA) featuring flavors of lemon citrus candy, apricot, and mild tropical fruit. It finishes dry with a touch of herbal spice. The body of this beer is on the lighter side for a New England IPA – making it very easy drinking and a great complement to most foods and friendly conversation!

Bermuda Shorts was fermented with a Kviek yeast, which contributes some of the fruity notes in this beer as well as some ‘saison-like’ characteristics (like the herbal spice, dry finish).

For the hops, we used with Citra, Huell Melon, and Strata hops. Our grain bill highlights local — Valley Malt Imperial Pale and Pilsen malts, plus a nice dose of oats!
