Interested in farm fresh, local pork — grown right here on our very own Hobbs Farm? For the first time, we are offering a limited number of custom-cut whole or half hogs for sale to the public (you guys!).

Our heritage breed pigs are raised outdoors on pasture and fed a diet of natural grains (our very own spent grain from our brewing process), table scraps from our kitchen and a complete diet feed from a local feed company.

Average hanging weight ranges from 150 – 210 pounds per pig, or 75-105 pounds per half pig. Sounds like a lot of pig? Go in with a friend, your family, a neighbor, and split it. Pork for everyone.

You’ll be able to choose from a variety of cuts – that’s the custom part! Choose from a mix of pork chops, shoulder, and/or roast, bacon or ham (fresh or smoked), ground pork, and sausage. After you order, you will need to fill out our cut sheet with your processing choices. Your order will arrive frozen in labeled, vacuum sealed packages, ready for your freezer for you to pick up here at Hobbs Farm!

Pricing varies depending on the size of the pig but is roughly $700 for a half pig or $1200 for a whole pig, which includes processing costs. That’s $7.50/pound for a half pig, or a discounted rate of $6.50/pound for a whole pig. A $200 (half pig) or $400 (whole pig) non-refundable deposit respectively is required upon ordering, with the balance due at pickup.
