Created in collaboration with local printmaker Sarah Koff, whose hand-carved woodcuts celebrate New Hampshire’s natural world, First Pull captures the excitement of pulling that first print from the press, and that first sip from a fresh pint!

Bright golden in color with a creamy off-white head, First Pull showcases vibrant hop character from Strata, Meridian, and Mackinac hops. Notes of candied orange, citrus, ruby red grapefruit, and a hint of berry mingle over a crisp, refreshing body. Light, effervescent, and beautifully balanced, it finishes with a lingering citrus-peel bitterness that keeps each sip bright and inviting. Modern in approach, yet unmistakably West Coast in spirit, it’s the kind of IPA that stays refreshing from first sip to last and was built for summer drinking.

The citrus-forward hop profile and clean finish make this a natural pairing for some of our favorites, including Fish & Chips, Smash Burgers, Lobster Rolls, and our Fried Chicken Sammie.

Hop nerd? Here’s some more info on the hops used:
This beer was uber-hopped with Strata and Meridian from our friend at Indie Hops. Meridian brings bright lemon notes while Strata delivers grapefruit/citrus and a wallop of the dank cannabis aromas.  This beer also prominently features Mackinac, a Michigan-grown hop that brings tropical pineapple and mango, as well as orange citrus and hints of melon.

First Pull will be released – on draft and in cans on Thursday, June 25th!
