NOTE- this beer went over so well, that we decided to make it for our 11th birthday as well!

Community is at the heart of everything we do.

This beer, one of our 10th birthday beers, is a collaboration amongst our initial mentors, friends, and partners, and it celebrates the power of great neighbors and relationships. Thank you Evan Mallett (Black Trumpet), Dave Adams (Granite State Growler Tours), Dave Yarrington (Chapel + Main), Cheryl Parker (UNH Brewing), The Motts (Tributary Brewing Co.), The Jansens (2 Beer Guys), and Katherine Woolhouse (Honorary Co-Founder) for help in designing this beer and for all the love and support you showed us early on (and today)!

This beer is aptly named Our Community, and it’s a crisp, easy drinking Kölsch with flavors and aromas of citrus, lemon pith, and sweet apricot, finishing with a very slight bitterness. We think it’s the perfect summer beer, and we are excited for you all to try it! Our Community will be available in cans, on draft, and for growlers fills starting this Saturday, July 3rd!

Here are our tasting notes:

Appearance: light straw in color with a fluffy white head (that will leave some really nice lacing on your glass!)

Aroma: sweet apple, citrus, and apricot

Flavor: this beer drinks very crisp and clean with flavors of citrus, lemon pith, apricot, and apple, enhanced by bready malt, and finishing with a mild spice.

Body:  this beer features a soft body with a medium to high level of carbonation.

Featured in this Our Community montage are David Yarrington and Peter Elgeston with us (Nicole & Annette) at our launch party 10 years ago, the lovely David Adams, two of our favorite chefs on the planet (Evan Mallet and our Carrie), Katherine 💕, and our former brewer Cheryl – now running the brewing program at UNH!
