In the early days, we made (and drank!) a lot of dark beer and had tons of fun. As such, we couldn’t think of a better way to commemorate these heady, giddy, and formative years than a big, dark beer designed to inspire dreams and happiness.

Introducing The Warehouse: a Baltic Porter with Enna Chocolate Husks! If you like big, dark beers with notes of fig, chocolate, raisin, and plum, then this beer is for you! It’s one of the four beers we brewed for our 10th birthday, and it represents the first four years of our existence as a business, in a small warehouse park in North Hampton. We absolutely love this beer – it’s like an imperial stout made for summer. And one that’s just packed with flavors in our wheelhouse- dark chocolate and dark fruits!

Here are our tasting notes:

Appearance: Jet black with mahogany undertones, along with a caramel-colored head that will dissipate fairly quickly.

Aroma: Dark chocolate and dark fruits – raisin, plum, cherry, fig.

Flavor: This beer tastes like chocolate dipped raisins, with notes of coffee roast and dark caramel. This beer finishes with some mild alcohol warmth and a lingering tang of dark chocolate-covered fruit.

Body:  Although this beer is lagered, the body is still quite full and the mouthfeel is seductively smooth.

The Warehouse will be available starting Saturday, July 3rd. It will be available on draft (for drinking here or growlers to go) as well as in cans.

Ah, the Warehouse Days! Pictured here: Lee Carrier helping us get ready to launch, a ShakesBEERience event (a favorite of ours), our first set of beers (ALL of which we still make today!), and Hank – who lives on today via our best selling Hank’s Pale Ale
