Introducing These Boots… a Triple Dry-Hopped, Oated Pumpkin New England IPA. These Boots.. was crafted with 400lbs of pumpkins & orange squash (from Blueberry Bay Farm in Stratham, NH), a hefty dose of oats, a touch of ginger, rum-soaked vanilla beans from Flag Hill, and the 2019 Pink Boots Hop blend. The resulting farm-to-pint beer features flavors and aromas of tropical fruit, melon, light vanilla & ginger, with undertones of gourd. We added the hefty dose of oats in order to get a beer with a really nice, fluffy white head and full body. The plethora of squash resulted in this beer’s gordgeous orange color, and really subtle notes of pumpkin.
For you hop nerds out there, the Pink Boots hop blend consists of 3 parts Loral hops, 2 parts Glacier, 1 part Mosaic, 1 part Simcoe, and 1 part Sabro. For every pound sold of this blend, Yakima Chief Hops will donate $3 to the Pink Boots Society, a non-profit organization which supports women working in the brewing profession, especially in creating craft beer.
