Bar(d): Shakespeare in the Open

Join us on Wednesday, September 17th for an evening with Bar(d): Theatre in the Open, as they bring their tour of bars and breweries to Throwback for a Shakespeare-themed event. Format is fun and friendly – doors open at 6pm so you can find your seat and order some food before voting on the play you’d like to see that night, with the performance starting at 7pm. Using cue scripts generated by their very own ‘Tis Your Cue, you the audience will be choosing what Shakespeare play they perform, “scroll-in-hand”, each night. At Bar(d), the audience calls the shots (sometimes literally), the actors get their cue scripts moments before curtain, and the next scene might just include you. Settle in with your beers while the actors prep for the chosen show, then watch the performance from 7-8:30ish.
