When was the last time you tasted some of the best wild-caught seafood in the world—paired with colorful storytelling from the very fisherfolk and oyster growers who harvested it?
We are truly honored to host this remarkable fundraising dinner on Monday, November 3rd at 6pm, celebrating and supporting the work of the One Fish Foundation. This special evening brings together an incredible team of partners—Coastline Seafood, Gulf of Maine Conservas, Swell Oysters, Fox Point Oysters, and an extraordinary lineup of chefs: James Beard Award nominees, Evan Mallett (Black Trumpet Bistro) and David Vargas (Vida Cantina), super chef and now Chef and GM of Fold’d, Mark Segal, uber-talented Chef and proprietor of Hopestill Restaurant & Winery, Amanda Parks, and our very own top-notch Chef, Carrie Dahlgren.
The menu is currently being finalized, but you can expect an incredibly creative and flavorful five-course meal with dishes featuring local seafood (such as monkfish, oysters, smoked mackerel, squid, pollock, and Uni) PLUS produce grown right here at Hobbs Farm, including Cornito peppers, lemongrass, Hakueri turnips, blackberries, pears, ginger, and more!
One of the most exciting aspects of this event is the conversational aspect of it – one that connects diners directly to the people and places behind their food. Ask the fishermen—or fisherwomen—who caught the fresh pollock on your plate how they fish, where they fish, and what keeps them on the water despite mounting challenges. Learn what it takes to grow oysters along the New Hampshire coast. Enjoy a truly memorable meal while engaging in dialogue about the future of local seafood and the importance of supporting sustainable fisheries and the chefs who champion them.
Tickets are $65 plus tax and service charge, and seats are limited. Secure your spot today for this intimate, impactful, and delicious evening celebrating local seafood, local stories, and the people who make it all possible.
