Throwback Brewery

One day. Seven plays. Many ShakesBEERs.

Seven Stages Shakespeare Company’s wildly-popular ShakesBEERience play reading program heads on-location to Throwback Brewery‘s fabulous Beer Garden for our seventh annual ShakesBEERience Encore on June 9th!

As voted on by the audience members in attendance at our closing ShakesBEERience at The Press Room in April, one “favorite” was chosen from each of the past seven seasons to be performed back-to-back for our Encore day in June. Here is the line-up!…

10am- Antony & Cleopatra

11:15am- Much Ado About Nothing

(please note that our kitchen will open with our full menu at noon. From 10am until 11:50am we will be offering some light snacks and our full lineup of beers, wine, and other assorted alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).

12:30pm- King Lear

1:45pm- Twelfth Night

3:00pm- Hamlet

4:15pm- The Tempest

5:30pm- Timon of Athens

One ensemble of professional actors- with script in one hand, beer in the other- will take you on the journey through all seven of these plays.

Come for the whole day, or come for one play– the experience you have is yours to create and you may come and go as you please!

Tickets are required, and two options are available for your convenience:

-a “Sunshine ONLY”, General Admission ticket which is FREE FOR ALL, Or Pay What You Will. “Sunshine Only” means, should inclement weather result in the event moving inside, seating will only be available first-come, first-served after the reserved seats are filled.

-a “Raindrops OR Sunshine”, Reserved Seat ticket for $23 (includes fees). “Raindrops OR Sunshine” means, should inclement weather result in the event moving inside, those with this ticket will be guaranteed a seat.
