Celebrate Sustainable Fisheries!

We’ve partnered with Slow Food Seacoast and Slow Fish North America to host a day of fish-themed tastings, activities and workshops called Fishtival!

Bring the whole family and experience the taste of the sea prepared by some of the Seacoast’s top chefs. Tastings include both food and beverage selections; full pours and meals are also available in our brewpub.

Get educated! In addition to tastings, chefs will be offering workshops focused on seafood preparation and several area organizations will be sharing learning activities. A series of mini-talks co-mingled with music will be happening throughout the afternoon.

Participating Chefs and Brewers include:

Brendan Vesey, Botanica, Portsmouth

David Vargas, Vida Cantina, Portsmouth

Lee Frank, Otis restaurant, Exeter

Evan Mallett, Black Trumpet, Portsmouth

Carrie Dahlgren, Throwback Brewery, North Hampton

Brendan Levin, Lure Bar + Kitchen, Portsmouth

Rob Martin, CR’s Restaurant, Hampton

AND

The Slow Fishtival is the culminating event of a 4-day Slow Fish North America conference being held at the University of New Hampshire. The Slow Fish 2020 conference will bring together fish harvesters, chefs, scientists, youth, and seafood eaters from around the country to connect, celebrate, and advance our shared values of good, clean, and fair seafood for all.
