We’re kicking up the heat on Sunday, May 5th and throwing a little party to celebrate all things spicy, including the return of Spicy Bohemian – our jalapeño pilsener. We’ll have limited edition spicy beers and fiery foods created just for this day, Spicy Bohemian Jalapeño Pilsener on tap and in cans, and live music in our beer garden!
Limited edition spicy beers will include:
– Candied Ginger Pepper Sour – Candied ginger and hot peppers give our kettle-soured blonde an enjoyable sweet heat.
– Cayenne Cajun Common Ale – Our lightly roasted, dark California common, amped up with zesty cayenne and cajun spices.
– Ghost Pepper Bock – For those who like it hot, we’ve paired our perfectly malty Sandman bock with in-your-face ghost pepper heat!
– Cucumber Lemongrass Jalapeño Cream Ale – Cucumbers and lemongrass from our farm, complemented by just a touch of jalapeño, make for a refreshing spring ale!
Chef Carrie’s specials for the day will all feature a kick— including house-made tamales with a flight of hot sauces, each paired with the special spicy beers of the day! We’re also dreaming of fiery tacos, sausages, and beer-battered treats from years past. While the menu is still in the works, we can’t wait to taste what they’re firing up this year!
Plus, there will be live music in our beer garden from Arrty Francouer (weather permitting). Artty wails a variety of harmonica techniques and guitar styles spanning swing, bluegrass, swamp music, honkytonk, blues, country, rock, americana, reggae, and soul. He is an entertainer who will sooth your soul or put grit in your drink. With a style like no other, his songs resonate the American spirit. He is truly a show not to be missed!
