The January 29th event topic is Building Balance: Affordable Homes and Healthy Communities in a Warming World.
As housing becomes harder to afford and our planet continues to warm, how can we create communities where everyone can live well? This event explores how the housing crisis, climate change, and health are deeply connected — and highlights innovative solutions to make homes more affordable, communities more resilient, and lives healthier in a changing climate. Expect fresh research, lively discussion, and inspiring ideas for positive change.

- Stephen Bird, director of the Carsey School of Public Policy at UNH
Doors open 5pm and talks will start at 5:30pm.
All ages welcome. Drinks and food will be available for purchase at the event.

What is Seacoast Sips of Science?
A casual meet-up at a local hotspot where scientists share their cutting-edge research with you! It’s a venue where you get to hear about the cool research going on in our local community from the experts doing the work. Topics range from space lightning to lightning bugs, from wildfires to coastal flooding, from desert mice to oysters. All are welcome – there is no scientific experience required! Come ready to listen, learn and discuss.
