When it comes to pumpkin beer people either love it, or hate it. But, when it comes to our Gourdgeous Pumpkin Ale, we frequently hear things like, “I usually don’t like pumpkin beer, but I really liked that!“. What we like about this beer (and hope you’ll like too) is that it’s perfectly seasonable, ever so slightly spiced with hints of ginger, nutmeg, and vanilla, and oh so drinkable at 4.4% ABV. This light bodied blonde ale has a beautiful golden sunset color, which comes from using over 400 pounds of Dickinson pumpkins from Blueberry Bay Farm in Stratham, NH. We roast the pumpkins before putting them in the mash, and, as a result, you get the essence of toasted pumpkin seeds when you taste the beer.
So come give pumpkin a chance…hopefully you’ll love it as much as we do. Don’t hesitate though, or all our other ‘not sure how I feel about pumpkin’ customers will have drunk it all – it is, after all, a taste of Fall in a glass!
