Kottbusser is a German beer style outlawed in 1877 due to the Reinheitsgebot German purity law that limited beer ingredients to only barley, hops, yeast, & water. Like traditional Kottbusser recipes, ours includes adjuncts like oats, honey, and molasses, resulting in a hazy, golden ale that drinks like a mildly hoppy, full bodied lager with citrus, lemon zest, bready, and herbal tea-like qualities.
