Dorothy’s Goatee is a crystal clear, copper-colored Maibock with flavors and aromas of honeyed whole wheat bread, caramel, and butterscotch, balanced by a clean, bright, mild bitterness from the slightly oaky and woody hops. A gently warming presence of alcohol makes this the perfect beer to welcome in Spring!

If you are unfamiliar with Maibocks, they are a German-style of lagered beer that tend to be a beautiful amber color, relatively boozy, and nicely balanced between malty sweet and mild hop bitterness. Maibocks are very underrepresented at US breweries, but we couldn’t be more excited to release this traditional Spring time beer! It’s incredibly enjoyable to drink, and it will warm you right up with it’s 7.4% ABV!

Release date is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27th – both cans and draft! It will also be poured at Liar’s Bench Bockfest that weekend.

Dorothy and Rose just can’t help themselves – the beer is very good!
