Since we are a day away from October, and the tomatoes are no longer Summer ripe – but the squashes and the apples are just about perfection, it feels about the right time to switch up our menu to highlight the Fall harvest and to bring a bit more comfort food to the mix.
So, starting today (4-9pm), we have an updated menu, which still includes your favorites like the Throwback Burger, Poutine, 3 Onion Dip, and Korean Wings, but adds some new dishes, such as:
- “The Elvis” – Hobbs Farm style: thick-sliced North Country bacon, Teddy All Natural peanut butter, house-made Concord grape jam, and gooey & mild melted cheese – all grilled to perfection on house-made spent-grain bread.
- Chorizo Bowl: grilled house-made spicy chorizo and rice, topped with avocado, cilantro, cabbage, and a fried egg. Finished with our adobo broth and poblano goat cheese yogurt.
- The Brisk-Wich: Northeast Family Farms brisket smoked on apple wood until it’s perfectly tender & smoky, and then piled on our spent grain bread and topped with our stonefruit BBQ sauce and a creamy slaw.
Based on its popularity as a special, we also have added another dessert – Local Dutch Apple Pie: Chef Carrie makes the best pie. This is no exception. Her house-made buttery crust filled with local apples and just the right amount of cinnamon and sugar. Topped with whipped goat cheese from Vermont Butter & Cheese Creamery.
Of course, our sides also reflect the seasons: baked beans, roasted delicata squash with a touch of maple syrup, Hobbs Farm creamy slaw, and cheesy grits. Yum!
Finally, we have a new section just for kids – including PB&J, (cheese) burger, grilled cheese, and veggies & dip.
