Our Playlist experimental beer series features the same base IPA recipe (oats, 2-Row and Pilsen malt from Valley Malt). But, every time we make a batch, we switch up either the yeast OR the hops. Playlist 09:01 is crafted with Rakau, Amarillo, Citra, and Strata hops, a heavy dose of flaked and golden naked oats, and an English Ale yeast. The resulting beer is a hazy, sunshine-colored New England IPA with grassy, tropical aromas and a flavor profile that is super dank and grassy, with notes of apricot and mild citrus. Playlist 9.01 finishes with a grassy hop bite, ideal for the hop lovers out there!
