We are up to v11 of our Playlist Experimental Beer Series!
Playlist 11:01 is a glowing gold, mildly hazy IPA with aromas of fruit punch and pineapple, underscored by a lovely herbal fruitiness. It drinks very soft and easy, with flavors of tropical fruits, herbaceous pine, biscuity malt, and orange zest, finishing dry, with lingering notes of citrus zest and pith.
Playlist 11:01 is crafted with Pacific Sunrise, African Queen, and Cashmere hops, plus a heavy dose of flaked and golden naked oats, which contributes to this beer’s fluffy white head and smooth mouthfeel.
This batch of Playlist features a slightly higher ABV (6.6%) than the previous batches (which were ~6.3%).
Our Playlist experimental beer series features the same base IPA recipe (oats, 2-Row and Pilsen malt from Valley Malt). But, every time we make a batch, we switch up either the yeast OR the hops.
