2024 Fat Alberta is a special treat!

If you like chocolate and peanut butter, you won’t want to miss the annual release of Fat Alberta – our Chocolate Peanut Butter Imperial Stout! Made with Enna Chocolate Cocoa husks and rested on mounds of oven-roasted peanuts, the 2024 version of Fat Alberta is bursting with big flavors of decadent dark chocolate and sumptuous peanut butter cups, and it’s ridiculously smooth for an 11% ABV beer.

In addition to pouring the 2024 Fat Alberta on draft, we will also be pouring:

  • a nitro version of 2024 Fat Alberta – look forward to an extra smooth body and creamy head!
  • a special PB&J cask of 2024 Fat Alberta. We made this once before, and, ever since, we’ve received many requests for it to come back! Can’t wait to enjoy this special version with all of you!
  • 2018 Fat Alberta – featuring flavors of chocolate, toffee, and butterscotch, with very mild peanut butter notes, this super smooth vintage is akin to caramel-y raisins covered in dark chocolate with a toffee finish. It’s a lovely contrast to this year’s rich dark chocolate and peanut-forward brew.

The event will kick off here at Hobbs Farm, where you’ll also be able to purchase cans of Fat Alberta to go, including a ‘build your own vertical’ table, featuring Fat Alberta cans from 2019, 2022, and 2017 bottles (limited number). We’ll have special cocktails and dessert(s) as well, which we will announce soon, but Annette has mentioned chocolate banana pudding – yum!!
