Hopheads rejoice! Join us as we travel from New England to New Zealand on Thursday, August 24th as part of our Day of Hoppiness. We’re rolling out two brand new IPAs that day, plus a dry-hopped Kölsch, each utilizing cutting edge brewing techniques and new, highly sought after hops. We’ll also have a special cocktail made using our house hop syrup!

New beers include:

Ninja of the North – New England IPA 7.2% ABV: Our very first ‘zero’ IBU IPA (with all hops added into the whirlpool and secondary), this super tropical hazy IPA tastes like red skittles and strawberry bubblegum with loads of berry and candied stonefruit flavors. Designed by our Head Brewer Annette (a.k.a The Ninja), Ninja of the North utilizes Belma hops plus HBC 586 hops, a relatively new and in demand hop from the Yakima Chief’s hop breeding program. We also used the revolutionary Cosmic Punch thiolized yeast, doubling down on the tropical flavors and aromas.

What We Brew In The Shadows – New Zealand IPA 6.9% ABV: Crafted with New Zealand Hops (Pacific Sunrise and the highly desired Superdelic) PLUS Omega’s Cosmic Punch yeast (to ensure a juicy, fruit beer with plenty of fruity esters), What We Brew In the Shadows features a pillowy soft mouthfeel with flavors of peach, sweet citrus, and passionfruit, finishing with a zing of grapefruit-y hop bitterness.

Clodhopper Kölsch – American Kölsch 4.8% ABV: We brewed a classic crisp and clean Kölsch, but used primarily American Noble Simcoe hops (using just the inner core of the hops!) and a small amount of American-grown Zuper Saazer for bittering. The result is an easy drinking ale with hints of lemon and tropical fruit, underscored by flavors of bready malt with a lingering bitterness.

Try them all in a sampler tray with our best selling Rule the Roost Hazy House IPA, or just enjoy fresh pours of your favorites. Cans of all four will also be available to go.
