Fat Alberta Release- December 13th at 12pm @Throwback Brewery at Hobbs Farm-
The holiday season has always been a time for family and friends, but it’s also a time for cold temperatures, warm sweaters, comfort food, and fun traditions. Here at Throwback we have some traditions of our own, and this December we invite you to partake in the annual release of our Russian Imperial Stout, Fat Alberta.
Like the name suggests, it’s a whopper of a beer at 10% ABV and will definitely get you in the holiday spirit with its rich body and decadent notes of peanut butter and chocolate. The event will kick off on Sunday December 13th at 12pm here at Hobbs Farm, where you’ll be able to purchase bottles and pours of Fat Alberta.
But that’s not all that’s in store for you on the 13th, so here’s a list of what else we’ll be up to:
- We will be selling 19.9 oz bottles of Fat Alberta as well as 4 oz and 12 oz pours.
- We will release bottles of our Figgin’ Forty for the first time ever! Figgin’ Forty is a chocolate fig Baltic porter that will definitely replace any visions of sugar plums you’ve been having.
- We will tap a special pin (cask) of Campfire – S’mores style. Yep, we are aiming to re-create that perfect Campfire scene.
- Finally, we will have several Fat Alberta food specials designed by our talented Chef Carrie. Some of these specials will use Fat Alberta in the dishes. All food options will, of course, be delicious and pair well with our beers!
So bring your family, bring your friends, bring a stranger if you want, but definitely don’t forget to bring your love of good beer, good food, good company, and good times!
