Over a year ago, we brewed a super smooth 8.2% ABV Doppelbock called Blanche-nator, that featured flavors and aromas of toasted brown bread, pretzel, fig, caramel, and raisin, balanced by a toasty, mild spicy rye bread finish and some gentle alcohol warmth. We then took that beer and aged it in a Rye barrel for over one year, adding about 1.3% of ABV (to get to 9.5%), and resulting in an amplification of all the base beer flavors (especially raisin and fig).

With flavors and aromas of sweet oak-ed cherry and brown sugared figs, this Rye Barrel-Aged Doppelbock is a big, smooth brew that will warm you from the inside out! We love how the fruity alcohol notes lovingly linger on our tongues. We can’t wait for you to try it!
