We’re turning 14 this July, and we couldn’t have made it this far without the love and support of our amazing customers, dedicated staff, supportive families, and vibrant community. From the beginning, spreading love and kindness has been at the heart of everything we do. So for our 14th birthday, we’re celebrating the way we know best — with gratitude, joy, and a whole lot of love.
Join us for a week filled with good vibes, great beer, and community spirit — the Throwback way. Here’s what you can look forward to:
All Week – The Love Letter Station
Stop by our special “Love Letter” station to write a heartfelt note — whether it’s a thank-you to someone who’s made a difference in your life, or a little love note to Throwback itself 🥰. We’ll be sharing some of our favorite messages on social media throughout the week, so come be part of the love and help us fill the brewery with appreciation and joy.
Monday, June 30 & Tuesday, July 1 – Community Pint Nights During Beers & Bites (4-7pm)
We’re kicking off our birthday week by spreading the love to some incredible local nonprofits! Join us for Community Pint Nights, where $1 from every pint purchased will be donated — and you get to help decide where the money goes.
Cast your vote at our voting station for one of these four amazing organizations doing vital work in our community:
— Gather – Providing nutritious food and prepared meals to those experiencing hunger across the Seacoast of NH and Maine.
— NHSPCA – Giving animals a safe place to go when they have nowhere else.
— Haven – Offering violence prevention education, support services, and outreach across southeastern New Hampshire.
— Lovering Health Center – advocating for everyone’s right to make informed, personal decisions about their sexual and reproductive health.
You drink, you vote — we donate! Come raise a glass and help us give back, one beer at a time.
Wednesday, July 2 – Birthday Beer Bash, New Merch, And Cribbage!
Join us as we release all four of our brand new anniversary beers! We will also release some cool new merchandise branded with our birthday theme of “Spread Love. It’s the Throwback Way”!
Cribbage fan? Join us for our monthly Cribbage tourney. Sign up by 4pm Wednesday, games start at 6pm sharp!
Here’s our list of birthday beers:
- Meetinghouse Mild – 3.8% ABV – an ultra-smooth, completely crushable brew with notes of coffee, dark toasted bread, and dutch cocoa. Served via nitro for an extra creamy head and mouthfeel! And, since this is a British-Style beer, we will also tap a special firkin on this beer– real ale fans rejoice!
- Stay Classy IPA – San Diego IPA – 7.9% ABV – Bursting with aromas of tropical fruits (mango, papaya) and candied fruit, this clear, golden ale features flavors of pink grapefruit and lemon with a touch of pine resin, and a lingering aftertaste of tropical mango and grapefruit pith. Dangerously smooth for an almost 8 percent beer!
- Blueberry Bash – A Blueberry Lemon Wheat Ale – 5.1% ABV – Featuring flavors of blueberry with a bright pop of lemon zest over a base of pie crust and graham cracker maltiness – all balanced by a green tea-like herbal bitterness with some floral blueberry notes.
- Choreography & Merriment – Grand Marnier Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout –12% ABV – We wanted to celebrate 14 years with a decadent treat, so we took a big, rich, dark chocolatey Imperial Stout and aged it in a Grand Marnier barrel – resulting in a beautiful balance of orange and chocolate, and one heck of a treat!
Thursday, July 3 – SPECIAL Hours 12-8pm + “Split the T” Challenge + Love Local Fest
“Split the T” with our totally crushable Meetinghouse Mild!
We will be open for LUNCH and Dinner on Thursday, with expanded hours of 12 to 8pm. Come on by and try our brand new beers, or have a little fun with our Split The T challenge!
Inspired by co-founder Nicole’s recent trip to Dublin, we’re inviting you to try your hand at “splitting the T” — a twist on the Irish tradition of “splitting the G” on a pint of Guinness.
Here’s how it works: order a pint of our new Meetinghouse Mild (served on nitro) and try to drink just enough in one sip to split the foam evenly across the “T” in Throwback on the glass. Interested in playing? We are offering a Special Deal (Thursday only) with a pint of Meetinghouse Mild + a Throwback logo pint glass — for just $10!
On Thursday, we will be spreading the love to an amazing customer of ours- Emery Farm in Durham. Come see us at their Local Love Fest from 4-7pm for a tasting and celebration of local makers.
Friday, July 4 – Closed
We’re giving ourselves and our team a special birthday gift — a day off to relax, recharge, and spend time with friends and family. We’ll be back Saturday for a weekend full of fun!
Saturday, July 5 – Birthday Weekend BBQ!
We’re firing up a BBQ Plate Special to keep the birthday vibes going strong.
We will also be at:
– Portsmouth Farmers’ Market – come say hi and grab some beer and fresh produce!
– Calef’s Country Store in Barrington for a tasting from 12–3pm
Sunday, July 6 – BBQ + Yoga
Keep the good vibes rolling with another round of our BBQ Plate Special, and ease into your Sunday with Yoga at the brewery at 11am.
